oxford american is crazzy good! i just started reading the new issue a couple days ago and was blown away by how much "good shit" there was within. naturally i had to read mary miller's bit about going over the border into louisiana when she was 18 to *legally* buy booze. good stuff. and now i'm psyched to read the article about going to joseph mitchell's hometown, as well as bronwen dickey's essay about revisiting the river that made her father so damn famous.

wait...what? there's a subscription offer? seriously? i just thought you were blogging about how great OA is. oh, cool. but, damn, we subscribed last month.
